Urinary/reproductive systems

Observations REPRODUCTIVE
Penis is very small
The female system is VERY intricate
Testes are almost like sponge in the inside
URINARY
Veins run every where in the kidneys
Kidneys both contain numerous veins inside themselves
Bladder was interesting to see
Kidneys look very delicate

Reflection for both
Overall this was another successful day. Matt and I found some very interesting details about both systems parts. The reproductive system was kind of awkward to dissect at first but then became very interesting. Both the make and female parts are complex and female parts are very intricate and this is because the process of reproduction. Very good day, probably my favorite dissection day.

Nervous system

Observations
1.crazy to see all these small nerve branches
2. Realized that cat and humans are very similar with veins which is cool to realize
3. Nerves are almost like the color of the skin in the cat
Reflections
Overall, this was very interesting. It was crazy to see how all these nerves truly make the cat move and send messages to all parts of the body. The dissecting was very interesting and intricate and this was a fun day.

Digestive system

Dissection procedure- for each of the organs of the we dissected, me would cut the organs in half then further examine them under a microscope.
Reflection- overall, this was a very interesting experience. I learned a lot and Matt and I had a fun time. When dissecting each organ it helped me learn more about our organs. This was interesting in the sense of further examining stuff we look over on a daily basis.

Respiratory System

Overall this was a very interesting experience dissecting the respiratory system. Matt and I both learned a lot dissecting the respiratory system. When taking apart the lungs we were able to learn about the alveoli branches in the lungs. All of nodes if the lungs were very interesting to look at too. Overall it was a very good expierence.

Arteries of the cat

The arteries of the cat were very interesting, although it was very complex, it was very interesting to see that. The cat was very delicate and Matt did a good job dissecting the cat and an excellent job on the veins. I was very poor at doing this yet Matt did a very good job. This was a good expierenced and I learned a lot.

the heart description

the heart in our cat was quite the experience. The heart was fairly large and the removal of the heart was very interesting, when taking out the heart it was an oval shape. The heart was very interesting to look at and the cross dissection and all the valves were present in it. the heart very interesting too look at because it is very similar to how our heart, and it helped me learn a lot.
